What in the world could be going on with my feet and ankles? They are itching and burning terribly! I've had this for quite some time now it comes and it goes the mark seem to be staying though. I wake up sometimes with these scratches on my ankles, sometimes they're on my arms. But my feet and ankles are itching so bad!
I rub lotion on them and it goes away for a little while. I sprayed vinegar water solution on my ankles and I swear to God, you could see things moving on my skin like underneath my skin, like white patches. It's almost like the tips of my toes are emitting some sort of mist I feel it you can almost see it! What in the world?
I'm currently doing my Master's of Science in Nursing and have worked in wound care dealing with vascular issues for over two years, and I completely agree that it's time to see your primary care provider. Due to the location in your upper and lower extremities as well as the surrounding vasculature shown in the pictures you could possibly have anything from a peripheral vascular issue to a dermatological issue that perhaps you've simply scratched a little too vigorously while sleeping.

Try cornstarch in your socks, my Dad used it for his itchy feet and it seemed to work. Good luck.
Sounds like it could be athlete's foot. You can buy over-the-counter sprays, creams, or powders. Look in the aisle of the pharmacy with the foot care stuff. Good luck!
If you have ruled out athletes foot, try rubbing Aspercreme on your feet. It will stop the burning or itching.
Use tea tree oil, will cure problem.
I have a similar problem at times. Sometimes I wake up with numbness or tingling in my hands or if I hold something in my hands too long, this is a problem. I have found that if I take both alpha lipoic acid and fish oil, that I don't have this problem. If I take one but not the other, the problem comes back, so I always have to take both.
