When a "him"icane was hitting, MommaCat was in a panic to save her drowning kittens. I went out and grabbed the kittens out of the puddle that was fast turning into a lake in our yard. MommaCat followed me into the house where we dried the kittens and placed them on the floor beside her. MommaCat finished grooming each kitten, fed the 3 sisters and tried to reject this one.
She finally nursed her when I removed the other 3. After that I always had MommaCat nurse Ject first. All 4 kittens and MommaCat are doing wonderful. I kept Ject and returned the other 4 to their owner.

Ject is now all grown grown up. She was the runt and looks to be about 4-6 months in size. She's a little sweetheart and follows her big brothers every step. She also MUST be petted if the boys are being petted and she sees it happening.
