Hi. Does anybody know what this is called and how much it is worth? I can't find it online. It's a very heavy piece. Thank you

Are you in the US? These pieces were, from my understanding, primarily marketed and sold in the UK and countries other than the United States, so in all my years of selling Leonardo pieces, I never got to see one in the wild or sell them in retail (either new when I worked at Hallmark stores or as a reseller). I am fascinated by the pieces!
They are often referred to collectively as the African Collection and there are a number of mother and child combinations, including infants and small children. There are also elephants and other wild life in the series from what I can see.
There are no examples I can find of this exact one; however, that only means I haven't found it on my first search. If I can do a deeper dive on this, I will, once you tell me how tall it is and the materials:
--Do you know what material yours is--metals usually feel cold to the touch...resin feels cold, but will hold the heat if you keep touching it. The resin pieces are sometimes called "bronzed" because they are a bronze paint on a resin material.
As for values, I was surprised to see that there are no sold examples of any of the several dozen pieces I looked at. The unsold values I have seen for (other like, but not exact) figurines range from £5.00 to £150.
With more info, perhaps I can offer more specifics so you can gauge where to start yours. The taller the piece, the higher the starting ask--of course--people can ask anything. It will take sold versions to give you today's market value--so I will continue to look for those once I know more.
Thanks for sharing!
Thank you for your response you are so kind
I am in the uk and I have searched and could find nothing similar and I come across this forum who I thought might have the knowledge
It weighs 3 kilos and 20 inches tall
Just noticed a small chip and it is white under the bronze
This is The Leonardo Collection African (Masai) Woman with Child Figurine, material: presumably Resin.
A looking a bit similar figurine 53 cm tall, weighs 4.3 kg, with a chip on her head was sold for £ 9.50 (at auction, price does not include shipping) picclick.co.uk/
Another The Leonardo Collection AFRICAN TRIBAL WOMAN AND CHILD Figurine nearly 17" tall was sold for £ 8.50 (price does not include shipping) picclick.co.uk/
People are trying to sell such figurines for £ 19.99, £ 29.99 (height approx 17¼ inches) www.ebay.co.uk/
Leonardo is an inexpensive company. I dont know the exact value, but you will not become rich if you sell this.
