Anyone know where I can get a New Home (Janome) sewing machine repaired? A plastic part that helps the stitch selector, by putting pressure on the cam follower, has broken up. Cheshire UK area.

Use your favourite search engine and the following search term:
cheshire area sewing centre
Several (hopefully!) centres will come up, and examining the websites will tell you which is qualified to do servicing (cleaning and lubricating) and repairs to New Home machines. Generally, if the centre adverts they do Janome repairs, they will also be qualified to do New Home as Janome bought out New Home years ago and trained all their techs to work on either.
