New Washer Has No Liquid Soap Dispenser Visible?

I have always used powered soap. Now I have a new machine and I see no place to use liquid. How do I use the soap? Please help.

Measure the liquid soap in the lid. About half of what the manufacturer recommends. Toss lid in the washer. No dispencer necessary!

I would look in the operating manual that comes with every new machine. They give instructions on how to use and well as troubleshooting questions.

If it's a top load machine you can just pour the soap right in on top of the clothes. Of course, this should not be done with bleach or other bleaching products.

Ditto with what tlt4000 said. If you do go back to using powdered be sure to sprinkle evenly over the clothing so it doesn't clump up. I never even had a washing machine with a soap dispenser until about a decade ago ;-)
