I've got an air conditioning power problem. My AC worked good till the other day. I have 220 coming out of the breaker, but I have nothing coming out to the disconnect box outside. I don't even have any power at all. I even checked for continuity and I got that, but no power at all going to outside box. Could the wire be broken somewhere in between the breaker and the outside disconnect box.

Electricity and plumbing are the two places I go right to the the experts vs crowd sourcing info...but that is just me from having bad experiences and trying things that caused worse problems and much more expensive fixes.
As thrifty as I am, safely first with power and water. Crowd sourcing for the best vendor in your town is good. See if the vendors offer coupons or discounts. I know great vendors in Pittsburgh if that helps!
