When you get down to the last squirt from your bottle of lotion, don't throw it away. There is probably a lot of lotion still left in the bottom of the bottle.
Using a case cutter, cut the bottom off above the lotion line. Scoop the lotion out and put it in an airtight container that will make the lotion easily accessible to use.
Check the lotion bottle to see it has a recycling symbol. If it does, remove the straw and put it in the trash. Use a paper towel and wipe the lotion container clean and put it in with your recycling.

Great tip. Especially including the recycling part.
Cool and thrifty idea!
I do this with all my lotion bottles. There should be a better design to get the end of the product. Most bottles I cut have a good fourth to a fifth of product left in the bottom of the bottle or tube.
Manufacturers assume most people won't go to this bother. I showed them I am not most people. :-)
When I get down to the end of a squeeze tube I cut it down to where the near of it is put plastic over and you can still use it.
Great tip! It's exciting to find others that do this!!
I also cut off the bottoms of toothpaste tubes (a small bull clip to roll and hold closed between uses.)
Thanks for sharing!!!
Great tips, download definitely a must
