Children under 10 are not required to wear masks, nor should they be. It hinders the full development of their lungs.
I'm not sure this is accurate. I found this from the CDC website:
"CDC recommends that everyone 2 years and older wear a mask that covers their nose and mouth in public settings when around people not living in your household, particularly where other social distancing measures are difficult to maintain. Masks should NOT be put on babies or children younger than 2 because of the danger of suffocation."
Many schools require all students to wear masks for in-person attendance, including those under 10.
