We got Norman from a neighbor in 2002. The mother wouldn't accept him, so the neighbors gave him to us. I bottle fed him from 3 days old. He would play with Maggie, our dog.

What a cute little fella. My sister raised a heifer from just a few days old, and the little thing grew up thinking Mary was her mother. Her name was Baby, and she turned out to be a wonderful milk cow after giving them another beautiful little heifer. They were worth their weight in gold. It's amazing how much sense cows have when they interact with humans so closely. Most people don't even think of them as having feelings, but you'd be surprised.
Thank you for sharing Norman with us.

Steer are wonderful. I raised the biggest steer my vet had ever seen. He came from my offering to feed him and his brother. They killed his brother and so I bought him, then the pasture. He played like a puppy. He was careful never to step on me, hit me with his head and he absolutely loved me as I loved him.
Awww. Norman is just adorable! How nice he has a wonderful home and loving friends to take care of him.
