Numbness in Hip Area?

What is wrong if you have numbness in your hip and the skin feels weird too? I been having this numbness for 2 days. I fell hard on my lower back area during a soccer game then my hip area started getting numb so do I see a chiropractor?

You may have chipped a bone and the chip is pressing on a nerve. You might want to get an x-ray of your hip to see what's going on. A chiropractor could x-ray it and it might be cheaper than going to an M.D.'s office. If it's a chipped bone fragment it could take months or years to dissolve if it ever does. But get it checked ASAP.

Yes. That would be a good first step, and often easier to get in to see one than a regular doctor. It could be something easily remedied by an adjustment.

And if it is not, your chiropractor will tell you to go to a medical doctor.

You may have pinched a nerve, so, yes, a chiropractor can help. Don't put it off! The sooner you go, the easier it will be to fix!
