I have traditional oak cabinets next to redwood flooring. The cabinets need a makeover to match the new flooring. Should I paint or accent them in some way? Suggestions?

You could choose a shape, narrow rectangle, stripe at bottom or top, oval etc and do it in the redwood color of the flooring using either paint or stain.
