These make great rolls at the holidays or any time. Very soft and tasty!

Total Time: 35-40 minutes

Yield: 24 rolls

Ingredients:

Steps:

  1. Put first 4 ingredients in large mixing bowl.
  2. Stir in 1 1/2 cup boiling water. Cool to lukewarm.
  3. Add yeast and stir to dissolve.
  4. Add egg and 2 cups flour. Stir well.
  5. Add 2 cups flour. Knead well. Rise to double. Let rise again.
  6. Bake 20-25 minutes at 375 degrees F.

So after the dough rises to double do you punch the dough down then form the rolls in muffin tins to let rise again?
