Several years ago, I purchased a craft cart with tons of drawers, for additional storage. The cart itself started being too flimsy to use, but the drawers were in perfect condition. I decided I'd try to use them to organize my pantry, and I love the outcome! I labeled each drawer using my label maker and tried to sporadically place the different colors on the shelves. I recently went shopping, so my pantry is overstocked right now. Even so, this new organization has made finding things so much easier!

It looks so organized. What a great repurposing idea. :)
Thanks! Yea, I couldnt bear to throw my drawers away. They are so cute! And Im so lucky that two fit perfectly on the shelves.
I discovered that the plastic drawers from my plastic wheeled storage fit my wooden 'cubbies'. (Hold up better that the fabric bins you can buy to fit)
Great idea and colorful! Cheers to you.
I also immediately identified with the craft cart--too flimsy issue. Haven't figured out a way yet to keep it sturdy & square. Until then - we're stuck with what we've got.
What I'd love to know is ... What brand/model labeler do you have !!?? And what font name and size did you use? I'd love to get one for myself !
Hi. You're not writing to me, but I thought I'd let you know that I recently bought a Dymo Letrotag. It works well but it's hard to work where the symbols are, how to write on two lines etc. Make sure you get some instructions from somewhere because I don't recall them being in the pack.
Question not directed to me, but I use my computer and printer rather than a label maker. I can make up a lot of labels on one sheet of paper. Then I can cut to size and attach in many ways, tape, ties, etc.
