Origami is the art of paper folding. I made this brooch by folding denim from old jeans instead of paper. I used the origami scheme for folding a dove.
Total Time: 30 Minutes
Supplies:
- denim
- brooch pin
- 2 seed beads
- ruler triangle
- pencil
- scissors
- needle
- threads in denim color
- iron
Steps:
- Cut out a square from denim with 3.5 inch sides.
- Fold the denim square as shown in the photos, ironing the folds.
- Sew on the wings. Fold the tail of the pigeon and sew to secure the denim.
Bend the beak and sew it by adding beads - the eyes. - Sew on a pin and your brooch is ready.
