I have had a an Oster bread maker for a few years and it has worked well. The other day I plugged it in and nothing happened. There was no noise or display lights, it was just dead. I have tried it a few times since and still have the same result. Is there a loose connection, or is the plug wire bad? What do I look for or how do I fix it?

You could unscrew the bottom and look to see if something is disconnected. It would probably be more cost effective for you to find another one at a yard sale or thrift store. People even give them away on Freecycle.
