My friend gave me a big bottle of Cascade but I don't have a dishwasher! What are some other useful ways to use use Cascade without putting it to waste?
One way I found to use cascade in the clothes washer to clean rugs.
Just use it in your dishwater. Put in the hot water first to dissolve the Cascade, then add cold until it's the right temperature. It makes things a little slippery, but the price is certainly right!
you can use it in with your white clothes when you do laundry. specially yur socks
why don't you give or swap it with a friend that does have a dishwasher.
there is bleach in auto dish soap. I would be careful of what i used it for. Laundry sounds good as long as it's something you usually bleach.
Whenever you have anything burned onto a pan, let it soak overnight with some dishwasher detergent and water. It makes it really easy to clean.
you can use it to clean outdoor seating....it can be made as a paste if powdered or used directly if liquid.....my patio furniture doesn't have removable covers and last year it got left out in the weather and this solution when left to soak, removed all the stains and mildew.......it worked on plastic patio chairs too.....
we use it to clean the kitchen sink, soak the coffee pot which gets kind of grungy after several uses. just be very thorough in rinsing.
Put a cupfull in the toilet bowl water at night before going to bed. In the morning, brush the water and flush. It cleans and deordorizes.
I'm not sure of proportions but know there are recipes on net
for using bleach and cascade to whiten and remove difficult stains from
whites.
You can wash your hands with it.
