This has a tomato base and it could be loaded with botulism and you may not know it so do not take a chance even if it looks/smells okay.
Discard it and buy new or use something else instead.
I'm making a pot full now. Just added my 2019 expiry date bottle. Smells beautiful. Let you know if I die.
Ezi sauce is not tomatoe based
This is to far gone, we are talking about years later! There is some length of time after one's date, but this is entirely to long for safety reasons.
That's too old, so I would think not. Best to toss and buy a new one.
I agree with the idea of tossing it out. I think it is too far passed it's expiration date.
5 years is too old. I would not use it.
I've read that some McDonald's sauces can be stored unopened for 3-4 years - such as hot pepper sauce, with ground pepper, vinegar packets; ketchups and mayonnaise-based sauces - with cheese, mustard, etc. - for 1 year; olive oil, mustard, soy sauce - for 1-2 years.
Vinegar does not expire. I'd use it. Someone else mentioned a tomato base, no. Ezy Sauce doesn't contain any tomato products.
