Our ladies bathroom at work has pale pink ceramic tiles on the walls about 4 feet high with light and dark pink tiles on the floor. We have gray stalls and greenish blue cabinets. Since I cannot change any of those items, is there a color other than white I could paint the walls to soften up the room?

I've seen light aqua (a greenish blue) used in business ladies rooms, and it's very pleasant. It sounds like it would work in yours, since you have that color in the cabinets, but I would use a shade or two lighter. I suggest you pick up some paint chips (strips) from the paint department or store and hold them up to the cabinets and walls to see what shade works best. Good luck!
I would just choose another shade of gray rather than add yet another color.
Taupe blends with many colors. Without being a sore thumb.
I would paint the walls a darker pink to keep in the theme of the ceramic tiles.
