Paint on Polyester

How can I get gloss paint off my daughter's new dress? The material is 95% polyester, 5% viscose.

Mr Clean Magic Eraser. I usually use this on pesky stains or smudges I get on my sneakers. I pulled it out to see if it works magic on some polyester basketball shorts I had paint on, and it did. After 10 minutes of hard scrubbing it looks new, with no foul odor or anything, you won't believe it until you try it. (03/08/2009)
