How do you do paint counter tops to have the appearance of granite?

If you go to http://www.Victorialarsen.com, she has a stencil you can purchase to do it. She also has detailed instructions on her website. Her company is very customer oriented and if you have problems, they are happy to assist you. This is kind of a new item but I think it shows a pic of it on her website. It runs about $30. It seems expensive but if you stop to think how much new counter top costs, then it is not so cost prohibitive. I do know that you have to put several coats of water based polyurethane on it after you paint it. (09/25/2007)
