The burners or rings need repainting black because the original paint has washed off. How do I respray them without blocking the small holes? Please help they look awful.
You need high heat paint. Krylon and Sears have special paints for this purpose.
I redid mine. The gas company guys who worked on mine (its a 1941 roper, 6 burner and 2 ovens and 2 broilers) told me to plug each hole with a wood toothpick then I had to spray it with the black paint that is designed for painting wood stoves. It took 2 coats. Each hole had to be plugged, but then you have to be careful that the toothpicks don't break off in then.
This is what you want, Krylon spray paint - www.mscdirect.com/
covering the holes with toothpicks is a good idea
can i use thermoplastic acrylic epoxy paint on burners? thanks
