May I ask for specifics on what you feel the challenges are? I feel like I researched and really found this company to be the most lenient so I would like to make sure I am not missing something?

My comment is directed to all multi level marketing (MLM) companies in general with just one comment about this one in specific.

I tried many of these when I was younger and have found that most if not all take advantage of women.

When I did them, I ended up being out a lot of money and stuck with a lot of products that no one wanted.

I found the experience demoralizing.

Back when I did it, women weren't so open to protecting other women and were more than willing to make money off of them (AKA step on their back so they could move up). I feel it is my duty for having paid the price to warn other women to think twice.

In MLM the only people who make the money are the UPSTREAM people and you have to be the right personality to get to the upstream. Maybe you are and if so, then go for it, but I was not. I was not all about trying to convince other women to part with their money to become a downstream when I could barely make my money back myself. It was just a terrible fit.

If you are the type of person who is good at convincing women to 1 buy things directly and then 2, but into the process, then you may do well.

Specific to this company, their products are cute, but they are over priced (my opinion) and sadly they are not the highest of quality (my opinion as they seem to break easily or lose their luster). Personal opinion aside, what I have seen of this specific company is they:

1. Have glutted the market with its products which makes it much harder to sell.

2. Why...This is the simple law of supply and demand. If there is a huge supply of something and a small or moderate demand, it drives prices down and makes it harder to sell and makes the completion more fierce.

When you have to push to get people under you, you then stir the pot of an increased supply of sellers. Since the demand does not change, you now have a vicious cycle of people at the bottom who are supporting those above them.

If you feel you must go with an MLM to succeed, the food based ones have a slightly better rate (VERY SLIGHT) for the sellers because their products are consumables and if people love the (fill in the blank--spice or bread mix or whatever food they sell) they will buy more because they eat it and it is gone, so they want to replace it.

With jewelry, people can only have so much, and the market is limited (although their pieces do break often--but that is a turn off, not a plus).

If you want to start a legit business to help you earn extra money and you want to work from home, I strongly suggest (if you are in the US) is to find your local Small Business Development Center, find a mentor there and have him or her help you take your strengths and skills and find a good match for you to start a legit home based business. There are plenty of legit needs out there for problems to solve without having to get into an MLM situation.
