Diamond Post Medal for All Time! 1,298 Posts Turn scrap pieces of colored construction paper into this paper mosaic artwork. This was a fun and challenging art piece my son says, but he definitely enjoyed it! After he finished with his rocket ship, he made another creation! Apply this same concept with drawings your kids are interested in.
Total Time: 2 days (depends on your child)
Supplies:
- paper
- construction paper
- scissors
- glue stick
- pen
Steps:
- Figure out what you want to draw. My son wanted a rocket so he drew it with a little help from me.
- You will need to cut up assorted colored construction paper in random pieces (for the mosaic effect) perfect to save paper scraps for this project!
- Is is time for your child to glue down paper pieces down. Near the edges, he cut the pieces to fit.
- Optional - cut out paper mosaic piece. Glue down on black paper. Using white colored pencil draw stars and use foil for the moon. My son hung this artwork in his room!
