Paper Plate Puffer Fish - finished puffer fish The kids saw a puffer fish in a book we read then they blurted out they both wanted a puffer fish. They have really been into fishes lately. I compromised and we were able to make a puffer fish in terms of a craft.

Note: I'd recommend hanging this artwork up high though as the toothpicks are pointy.

Total Time: 20 minutes

Supplies:

paper plate
hot glue
googly eyes
construction paper
scissors
tape
toothpicks

Steps:

Freehand and cut out 2 fish fins. Tape fins on back of paper plate.

Paper Plate Puffer Fish - draw and cut out two fish fins

With the face up on the paper plate, hot glue on the goggly eyes.

Paper Plate Puffer Fish - glue on the googly eyes

With supervision, dab areas of hot glue and allow your child to stick on toothpicks.
