I have a 9 month old Yorkie that I purchased from a puppy store when she was 6 months old. It took a while to paper train her, but it finally seemed like it was going good. The other day my mother was vacuuming the hallway and the puppy was in her room on her bed. To make her feel better my mom was talking to the dog and calling her a good girl to keep her at ease. When my mother re-entered her room she found that the dog had pooped right in the middle of her floor. My mom told her her "no" and put her in the cage. Now the dog is refusing to go on the paper at all! What do we do. Please help.

Training your dog:
Your mother might have scared her when she said no and put her in the cage. You will have to retrain her.
Step 1
Stick to a strict feeding schedule.
Step 2
Remove food between meals.
Step 3
When it looks like she has to go, put her on the paper.
Step 4
Praise her when she does go on the paper.
Step 5
Don't punish for accidents.
Re-train a dog.
Step 1
Tie her to you as much as you can.
Step 2
The more times you reward her the faster she will catch on.
Step 3
When she has too go take her to the paper and tell her to pee.
Step 4
Take her to the paper every hour.
Step 5
When she goes give her a treat, praise her and play for a minute.
