Hotdog eating contest float ideas.
Step 1
You could have a weiner dog dressed in a cardboard box made into a hot dog stand I will give you a link to a picture of one at the end of this post.
Step 2
You could set up a table and sit a really large person next to a thin person and have a pile of weiners in front of them on the table.Put bibs on them have them holding a knife and a spoon.
Step 3
Make a hotdog cart or stand out of a cardboard box.
Step 4
You can put pictures of hotdogs on the side of the float with ketchup and mustard bottles.

First question - Why do you want to "poke fun" at another's choice of activities via a parade float in the first place?
Is the 'poking fun' of hot dog consumers &/or eating contest the actual theme of the parade? If not, as I've not seen too many, i.e.; any, parades centered around either stated option, why not concentrate on the positive promotion of the actual parade theme rather than mocking others that may think/act (legally) otherwise?
