I have a Sears model 536-81803 with Briggs motor. Would anyone know how to find a parts list for this reel mower?
I am also interested in the date of manufacture.

Contact Sears.com giving same info, also check for local dealers for parts in your area!
I would look on eBay for parts
If you are talking about the Briggs & Stratton motor then you should be able to take it to an Ace Hardware store service department and find any part you need. They may need to see the mower to really help you find what you need.
If you Google Sears Service Center with your zip you should be able to find a center near you. They still have records of all models and if you know what you need then they can probably order it for you. It may a generic brand but they will have a cross reference to find a part.
This article gives the methodology for figuring out the motor's age:

Many people don't know this, but there are many old Sears Catalogs and advertisements out on the internet. I have found them on Pinterest and just through Google Images. Some you can see various pages, some just the covers.
I have often found the ad for items when new and was able to not only confirm their age, but their original price.
As for parts, eBay is probably your best source, or if you have a local power tool repair place (we have one that does mowers, blowers, clippers, etc.) they often have parts for great prices, and lastly is to find a like mower at a swap meet or flea market and cannibalizing it for parts. We gave away a mower at a yard sale a few years ago to a guy who was going to use it for parts.
Post back with an update!
