My dog was vomiting but no diarrhea yet. Since he looked really sick I took him to the vet and the vet tested him for parvo which came out positive yet no more vomiting and he only had diarrhea one time only and nothing after that. I gave hime lemon juice and Pepto Bismal and after the third day he started to eat on his own with no vomiting. He is up and running, but he still looks a bit sick.

My question is was the dog vaccinated recently? If a puppy is vaccinated 4 to 8 days prior to a parvo test, the test can show a false positive. It's rare but possible. There are certain tests that the vets use now that are not supposed to have a false positive.
Severe, bloody diarrhea
Lethargy
Anorexia
Fever
Vomiting
Severe weight loss
