My dog who is about 5 months of age was just diagnosed with parvo. Within 36 hours of treatment she is eating and playing a bit, however I know she isn't fully herself yet. She has been whining lately which is out of character for her. I'm just concerned she may have gotten over it extraordinary fast from what I've been reading, can this be normal?

Some dogs recover more quickly than others. If your dog is suffering less, consider her and you lucky.
I would not measure healing in days being too short or too long. Every human and dog has their own metabolism and immune system. One pup may take a day, one a week, one month, or many months to heal fully.
The critical thing is to know and watch your fur baby and follow the vet's instructions exacty as given. This is critical even if the pup seems normal...don't stop treatment until the vet gives the ok.
Any changes call or take the pup to the vet ASAP! Prayers for your pup and you!
Most dogs get very sick with parvo. But not all. You are lucky. You may just be seeing a shift in symptoms and she may not be over it just yet. Stay in close touch with your Vet as things develop. Make sure she gets really good care over the next few weeks.
