How and when did you get your pet?
We adopted Patton from our local Humane Society at a pet store event. He was about 9 months old. We hadn't intended to bring home a cat, but my two young boys were thrilled. My older cat, Desire, was not!
What does your pet like to do for fun?
Patton is slowing down as he gets older. He loves to sit in the front window and watch outside, if he isn't asleep on one of our chairs or beds.
Do you have anything else to share about your pet?
Patton was diagnosed with a problem with his hips at about 2 years old. He had surgery to remove the femur heads from his back legs, leaving them floating in his pelvis rather than gringing and causing pain. He now walks a little funny, with his back legs crossing when he goes fast. He's also a little clumsy for a cat, but we still love him.
