Silver Post Medal for All Time! 293 Posts I really enjoy recipes that start with a mix! Completely from scratch is great, but there isn't always time. By adding crushed Starlite mints and chocolate chips, you can turn a brownie mix into something just a bit more special. The mints give it a great taste and the chocolate chips make your brownies so fudgy. This is super quick, easy, and tasty. Enjoy! :)
Total Time: About 10-15 minutes prep
Yield: 13x9 pan of brownies
Ingredients:
- 18.3 oz box brownie mix
- 18 Starlight mints, plus more for garnish
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
Steps:
- Prepare your brownie mix according to package directions.
- In a food processor, blend 18 Starlite mints to a fine powder.
- Add your powder along with your chocolate chips to your batter.
- Mix well.
- Spread evenly in a greased 13" by 9" baking dish.
- Bake at 350 degrees F for about 25 minutes.
- Top with a bit of vanilla ice cream and a mint.
- Only a small slice is needed, very rich! Enjoy!:)
