They will not sit on them until they are done laying all their eggs.
That way they will all hatch at the same time.

I don't think you have given enough information for anyone to be of help.
- Are these finches in a cage?
- Do you have a pair, a male and female?
- How many eggs?
- How long ago did you first see the eggs?
- How many days since the eggs were laid?
Please, a little more information!

Where are they located? Sometimes finches don't sit on their eggs until ALL their eggs are out, so it's a waiting game. In the meantime, keep them inside and feed them crushed up hard boiled eggs (shell and all) for their vitamins.

According to many bird experts, here is what you should expect.
- Many birds won't sit on their eggs until they have laid all their eggs. Just leave them alone and see what happens. She might need to lay a few more eggs before she sits on them.
- There normally have to be at least 3 eggs in the nest before she will sit on them.
- If you have a pair in the cage she will start to incubate her eggs automatically.
- This is very normal for the finch to do this. Do not worry about this yet.
- If you have a problem, watch this video on how you can build your own incubator.
