I've heard that RoundUp is used in zoos because it won't hurt the animals. Check the label. No sick or dead animals ever found in my yard after years of use on persistent weeds.
i had a 2 dogs and one of them got the roundup container and drug it into the yard puncturing a hole in the container. my other dog went to the container where it was leaking out and licked it. he went into a seizure and shut his kidneys down we had to have him put down because he was in so much pain and not a good chance for him to keep living..
Round up is NOT safe for animals.
We used Roundup on our weeds . A couple days later our dog went outside then came back in the house and licked his feet. The Roundup was on his feet and he almost died. So NO ! Roundup is not safe for pets
roundup will kill the flowers
Vinegar and hot water. Some people add some dish soap, but it is unnecessary as the vinegar does the job very well on it's own. A strong word of caution if your "weeds" are close to your plants, you could harm them as well if you splash or over water your vinegar mix.
I'm going to try this when it's gets hotter later.
Will give a update later
