How and when did you get your pet?
I got him about 11-1/2 years ago, I saw Ping's picture on Petfinder and felt he had so much personality that I wanted to meet him. I drove 2-1/2 hours and arrived at the rescue shelter. After holding and playing with him for a few minutes, I felt an instant bond. I adopted him and he is a wonderful addition to our family.
What does your pet like to do for fun?
Ping likes to go out on our enclosed back porch and commune with nature by making funny sounds. He also likes to run around with our other cat, Ching. Inside, he loves to climb up his cat trees. He likes to play dress up occasionally and pretend he is "James Bond" or other characters.
Do you have anything else to share about your pet?
Ping is very affectionate and will always give you a little head butt, head nudge, or tap on the shoulder with his paw to let you know you are loved which is a godsend when you're having a bad day. I know if Ping could talk, his one message with the world would be to open your heart and adopt a pet at a rescue shelter or home, etc. He says it is beneficial to your health to have a friend who offers you unconditional love and hopes you will help in making his world safer for him and his friends.
