Another quilt square idea!
Total Time: 20 minutes
Yield: 1 quilt square
Supplies:
- muslin fabric
- ruler
- fabric scraps
- pencil
- pins
- scissors
- 5 1/2 inch template
- 6 inch template
- thread
Steps:
- Cut out one 6" square out of the muslin and one 6" square out of a solid or printed fabric.

- Pin the two pieces of fabric together, right sides together. Using a ruler and a pencil, place the ruler at the corner of the top corner of the square diagonally to the bottom corner of the square and draw a light pencil line.

- Sew l/4" from the pencil line on the right side of the square. Repeat this step on the left side of the line. Using a pair of scissors, cut the square into two pieces, cutting along the pencil line.
- Open up and press. Using a 5 1/2" template, square up the two squares. Repeat this entire step with another two pieces of fabric. You will then have four squares.

- Using the four squares, place in a pinwheel design and cut one 5 1/2" square of muslin for the center. You can make an entire quilt, using this method.
