Planning a Rainbow Tea

How many people are you planning for? Are they going to be adults, children, both?

You might set up tables one decorated in each color. Or use the primary color for the tablecloth and a variation of colors for the dishes etc. Make a center piece with a flower in the corresponding color as well. You could even use all the same color just varying the shades, except for white of course. Or even start with a basic white table cloth and use the "colors" to decorate and set the table.

I love tea parties and there are so many ways you could go with this. The main thing will be to determine what you can spend on decorations. You could also incorporate the colors into the foods, red: strawberries, raspberry tea blue: blueberries or blueberry bread, purple: grapes, lavender scones white: sugar cubes,banana slices, peeled apple wedges, chicken salad, yellow: lemon slices,pineapple, egg salad tea sandwiches green: cucumber tea sandwiches, green grapes,kiwi slices green tea orange: orange slices, orange or peach tea. you could arrange your foods on the table to flow into each other like a rainbow, like place the fruits on a tray in the order corresponding to the order they flow in a rainbow hope this helps get your creativity flowing! have a nice party!
