A plant stand with shelves can really add space to your balcony garden. I purchased this stand at a thrift store and I have nine plants on it. I have a small balcony and I'm always looking for ways to maximize my growing space.

It looks like a large bakers rack to me .....but it sure does serve the purpose..and I bet it was much cheaper.
i tried having plants on my deck. but carrying the water from the kitchen thru the dining room and onto the deck was way to much for me.
