Bronze Post Medal for All Time! 118 Posts
I am a working mom with school age children. So basically, I have no time to water my indoor plants! I have this solution, which in addition to keeping my plants hydrated is also a good way to recycle things!
Total Time: 15 mins.
Supplies:
- 1 plastic bottle
- masking tape
- 1 ribbon
- colored pen
- 1 nail
- hammer

Steps:
- Make a hole at the center of the cap of the plastic bottle, using your hammer and nail.

- Make words or a drawing on your masking tape for the design, and stick it to the plastic bottle.

- Cut a small size of two sided tape, for the ribbon to stick.

- Put water in the plastic bottle and close. Then put in your plant. And now, your hydrating your plants!

I freeze water bottles with water, and sometimes liquid fertilizer, then remove the caps, invert in a plant and as the ice melts the water trickles into my plants rather than running out the drain hole.

How often do you find you need to refill the bottle with water? Thanks. :)
