There are a few free patterns on Pinterest but I would suggest paying a visit to a local craft store - maybe Michael's or Jo Ann's - as they have a wide assortment of pattern books, pamphlets, and all of the material you will need. They often have free patterns with the material packages.
This will give you a first hand look at what you will need and also how complex the patterns are.
Some of these items can be found on the craft store's web sites but first hand is better.

Pinterest has so many ideas on how to decorate once you get the basics done. They can look real -- these folks who make them are so talented!!
