Any ideas how to separate 3 plastic interlocking puzzle type pieces that are stuck together? I've tried hot and cold soapy water already.

Maybe you could fill the inside cup full of ice, wait a few minutes and then place them in a pot of hot tap water, letting the hot water soak a few minutes around the outside cup. This has worked for me.
Another idea: place them in the freezer overnight, then put them in your dryer with a towel or blanket for a few minutes (neighbors suggestion).
If that doesnt work try spraying WD-40 around the top of the bottom cup let it stand a few minutes and using grips in both hands try to twist them apart. WD-40 is really great for a lot of things.
Try putting it in the freezer.
Try freezing them. After well frozen, dip one end in hot water for a few minutes, leaving the other side cold. Then try to seperate
when i have anything like that stuck. i put in refridge for awhile.... a goood day.. and then carefully try to twist apart. good luck
