I have some furniture that doesn't shine like it used to. What polish is good for bringing up the shine?

I make my own and I like this one -- the dirt that the cloth picks up is awesome.
Furniture cleaner
1 C olive oil
AND
&frac; C lemon juice
OR
&frac; C White vinegar
put in a spray bottle - spray on cloth
My grandfather was a furnature maker. He always said wood needs wax, not oil. Oil shines fast but in the long run it smears. A good furnature wax will preserve your shine.
I've been using baby oil from the dollar store. It isn't oily when applied and leaves a nice shine. I put the baby oil in a spray bottle and spray it on a soft cloth. A little bit goes a long way. My furniture is old and it looks very polished. Of course, the shine doesn't last forever, but it's easy enough to re-polish even once a week.
