Using leftover pieces of candle wax, I created this layered candle.
Total Time: 1 hour
Yield: 1
Supplies:
- leftover candles
- candle scent
- wick
- candle dye
- double boiler
- scewer
- jar
Steps:
- Melt leftover candle wax over boiling water in a double boiler. You can mix colors if you like or to be safe on getting a pretty color, melt them one at a time. You may add candle dye and scent to the leftover candle wax.
- Pour into candle jar and let cool completely. Once cooled, continue step one until you have used up all of your candle wax. On the last layer, add the candle wick and hold it up using a skewer so it doesn't slip into the melted wax.
