I have a 5 month old male Yorkie. He pees and poops everywhere inside the house. I can't take him outside yet. How can I teach him to poop in a crate inside the house?

5 months is very young, so house training needs to start with crate training, but I am not sure why you want him to poop IN the crate. Although no one wants the pup to go everywhere. I get that!
Typically, people want their pups to be pooping and peeing either on pee pads in a bathroom or other floor that is easy to clean if they miss the pad. The crate is supposed to be the safe space, the bed, the home and NOT the place to potty.
Here is a YouTube video to help you start the process. There are many that are Yorkie specific also.
Second is to get the pup to the vet ASAP if you have not already just to make sure he has a clean bill of health and get his little neutering surgery scheduled (this will help with potty training also).
Post back with an update! Prayers for the pupster!!
If the dog is also going to sleep in the crate, you would be better off paper training. Dogs do not like to mess where they eat and sleep. If you want the dog to go outside, establish a strict feeding and walking schedule. Praise the dog when she goes and do not punish accidents
If you dont want to take him outside, you are left with paper or puppy pad training. Dogs will not go in their crate because they sleep there.
