The other day the power to our bedroom, bathroom, and hallway went out, but the breaker didn't pop, but it came back on. We checked the breaker and flipped it just in case and called someone to come check it out.
The guy came and looked and found nothing wrong and now for the past 2 days the power still will go out for a couple hours now at a time. I figured something is wired wrong or loose. What I'm wondering is if the main time this started the people we live with I think turned on the furnace. I'm not sure if it goes out with the rest of the power yet, but could that cause this?

A breaker would not turn itself back on, so that's not it.
A loose connection heating under load and cooling could be the culprit.
A hidden switch that the people you live with are turning on and off may also be the culprit.
I do not know how the furnace would be responsible unless it is something heat related.
