Power Out and Breaker Not Tripped?

So my living room light outside light and in my daughter's room the power stopped. The breakers aren't tripped. I changed all of the outlets and switches. What could it be?

An electrician would really help here.

The breaker could be tripped and not indicating. An electrical would check the output of each breaker for voltage with a meter.

The circuit could be on a GFCI receptacle that has tripped and needs reset.

The circuit could be open at a device or wiring connection in a box not yet identified. Sometimes power is fed through a device and although that device is still working it may not be passing the power along.

The wire in the wall could be open by physical damage (screw, nail, rodent...)

The open could be either in the hot or in the neutral. A non contact voltage pen would help here.

If it is not clearly labeled in your panel as to what devices are on which breaker, an electrician can bring a device that injects a signal on the bad circuit and a tone can be used to follow the wires in the wall. This would lead to the open circuit which could then be repaired.
