Every celebration needs preparation. If you are celebrating an event, your attention needs to be focused on the things that need to be done for such an event. Here are some tips based on my own way of preparing for a celebration.
- Prepare as early as you can. You may choose to prepare three months before the event if you're putting on a big one.
- Check the availability of funds.
- Decide on a concept based on your budget. It's good to have a concept to be able to determine your priorities and which things you need most.
- Make a list of the things you need to do and the things you need to buy.
- It is also helpful to buy your ingredients (if you are the one to prepare the food) whenever there are funds available. Also buy your decorations when you have extra money and time.
- As early as one month before the event, have all things prepared and set.
These things might not work for others, but for me it helps me save more time and money. I don't have to rush at the last minute before every celebration.
