Gold Post Medal for All Time! 677 Posts A very versatile, easy and delicious recipe using the pressure cooker, that will not heat up your kitchen.
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 10-11 minutes
Total Time: 15-16 minutes
Yield: 4-5 servings
Source: Facebook group
Ingredients:
- 10 drumsticks (I used 3 whole chicken legs)
- 2 onions
- ketchup
- spices of your choice
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1/3 cup water
- 1 Tbsp oil
Steps:
- Slice the onions.
- If using whole chicken legs, separate into drumsticks and thighs.
- Put water in the pressure cooker.
- Add the oil. Add a trivet.
- Put the chicken on the trivet. Cover with a layer of ketchup. Add the spices of your choice to taste. I used garlic powder and Italian seasoning this time. Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Add the onions. Add some ketchup on top of the onions. I did this step in two layers, because all my chicken wouldn't fit on one layer.
- Pressure cook 10 minutes for drumsticks. My thighs were large, so I cooked 11 minutes.
- Do a quick release. Serve and enjoy.

I'm sure you could. You probably would need more liquid.
