My dog is a male Pomeranian and he's been potty trained. But ever since we went on a 2 week vacation (we left him with my aunt) he's been peeing wherever he wants to. It's been 1 month already and he's still peeing inappropriately. We put him on time out and punish him like we did before, but he's still peeing. What am I doing wrong? It's gotten to the point where my family is considering giving him away.
Please help!

Please work with the pup!! First step when there is any change is to get a clean bill of health from the pup. He may have had different foods and schedule when you were away and has a health issue.
If he gets a clean bill of health from the vet, talk to the vet about the best size cage and method for re-crate training your boy. Sometimes when they are stressed, they forget. their habits.
Punishing them is TOTALLY counter productive and will only make him more anxious and pee more. Never rub his nose in it, or scream at him. A firm NO when you see him in action may work but even that is often useless. The best method is crate training.
He will get it it again after a few days or maybe a few weeks.
If he doesn't, you may need to talk to the vet again and see if diapers would be a good option. You don't say how old he is. Our Carmel Ann wore diapers for the last 2 years of her life and had a very good quality of life.
We used human diapers, she was tiny so we used Walmart size 1, cut a tail hole and she was off and running. We changed them several times a day like you do a kid and she was fine.
She lived another 2 1/2 years after diapers and was loving until the day she passed over the rainbow bridge.
Post back with an update! Prayers for answers!
The vacation threw him off. You will have to start from scratch. Put him on a strict feeding and walking schedule. Praise him when he goes outside and try to ignore the accidents.
You will need to retrain your dog. Some dogs, especially intelligent dogs can be disturbed and confused by being left at a home other than their own. Punishing your dog will confuse him, and waste your time. Ignore accidents and consider what training method will work for you.
Please have your dog checked by your Vet for a bladder infection. That all by itself can cause the symptoms your described. A new schedule, a new home, stress... all could contribute to an infection.
