We live in a very windy area. I have yet to find a bird feeder that is wind proof. Any ideas?

Hello, I have the same problem with hanging feeders but I have a wooden open feeder and I have used Velcro to a bowl for seed, it works good apart from really really windy days, I may put something around the edge like plastic. Ive just ordered a window feeder that is made of plastic and that looks wind proof.
We r in a frigid snowstorm I am going to try my Sun Umbrella to put to the west side we r getting 20-50mph winds
