I would speak to the puppy in a soft voice and praise him when he doesn't bark. Try to ignore the barking and he will get the hint that if he wants positive attention, he cannot bark at you.
I always suggest a quick vet check for any dog that has any aggressive behaviors....often times aggressive behavior is a result of a health issue...including bad teeth, ear issues, overgrown nails digging into the pads, etc.
If the pup gets a clean bill of health and the issue only happens when disciplining the pup, ask your vet for advice. It could be your voice is at a pitch that hurts the pups ears (my Clarence has extremely sensitive hearing and even the loudest noises cause him to react.
There are lots of videos and tutorials out there for how to discipline a pup...Ausies are very, very smart dogs (we had two living next door and they were smarter than I was!). Yours should learn quickly once you find the best method (here are a few sample videos):
You have a very smart dog. I would look at different training methods and choose one that emphasizes positive reinforcement and cooperation. Avoid a lot of correction and discipline. Any heavy handed methods will cause you problems with this dog.
